Silver Jubilee of the 4th Battalion 0f the Parachute Regiment

The Parachute Regiment is the Special Forces/airborne regiment of the Indian Army. The 4th Battalion was raised at Agra on 1 August 1961 as the need was felt to increase the strength of the Regiment. It is the First Para battalion to be raised after indepemdence.
