A lot can be said and read about The Submarine Arm of the Indian Navy. Most of it is already well known. In this post I'd like to highlight only two things, lest they be forgotten. First, that it was Commander KS Subramanium who commanded the first Indian Submarine INS Kalvari. Second, it was Captain RN Ganesh (my NDA coursemate) the first submariner to have ever commanded an Aircraft Carrier also.
