From all available accounts, it is known that the wireless (Radio) was introduced in the Indian Army in 1909.

The Corps of Signals have come a long way in the provision of radio communications to the Arm since radio was introduced 75 years ago.

This special cover was issued by the APS to commemorate the 75^th Anniversary of the introduction of the Radio in the Indian Army.
